Arizona Golf Courses: Foothills Golf Club

The Foothills Golf Club is located near South Mountain. Considered to be a desert links course, this Tom Weiskopf and Jay Moorish design provides golfers with forgiving wide fairways linked with light desert terrain on the outskirts. This target layout features 65 intimidating bunkers that are sure to challenge any golfer. Water hazards are also present on the golf course. The greens vary in size; some more elevated than others and are well guarded by sand bunkers. Four multi tee placements allow this course to be enjoyable by all play levels. Engaging views of South Mountain along with a striking desert back drop makes this course a hidden gem. The cost of this course is very economical and adds a great value to any golf package.

Driving Directions to Foothills Golf Club

From Phoenix Sky Harbor: Follow the airport signs to AZ-153 S. towards AZ-143 / I-10. Exit University Dr. and turn left. Continue straight .3 miles and merge onto AZ-143 S. Continue .8 miles and merge onto I-10 E. via exit 1A toward Tucson. Continue 7.7 miles and exit on Pecos Rd. / Loop 202 E. via exit # 161. Merge onto E. Pecos Rd. Turn right onto 24th St. Turn left onto Liberty Lane. Turn right onto Clubhouse Dr. and follow signs to course.
